Rachel Bridgman

I work as an integrative counsellor with young people and adults.  The positive impact of counselling varies from person to person, and is closely linked to their commitment to the process and the information that they are willing and able to share.  Accordingly, I will encourage you to express your thoughts and feelings freely, and will also provide you with the opportunity to be fully heard in a safe and confidential setting.

I am dedicated and committed to working with young people and adults, I will listen to you and offer you my full attention and respect, and commit to supporting you in developing your own solutions, insights, awareness and answers to the issues that are important to you.  I treat all my clients with respect and compassion – regardless of their sex, race, religion, economic status, age, sexual preference or beliefs. I often work creatively with young clients, this can be a helpful way to explore issues that seem hard to discuss.

Trained at Roehampton University, I now work with a humanistic and person-centred approach.  I also work as School Counsellor at St Nicholas’ School, Fleet and as a Young Person’s Counsellor for Family Counselling Trust, Hampshire.
