Worcester House is currently seeking a person to help with the running of our centre.

It is a varied role involving welcoming visitors, taking care of the needs of therapists and clients in the building, responding to questions by phone and email, dispatching post, setting up spaces and overseeing facilities during the day, updating information on databases, and helping to manage scheduling of rentals and clinic sessions.

The job will suit someone who has experience in customer-facing roles, well-developed skills communicating by phone, email and in person, and is comfortable with PC-based software. An interest in the variety of health and wellness approaches is also an advantage.

Worcester House seeks to provide a sense of community for the professionals that use the spaces here, and a friendly disposition is essential, while recognising the needs for professional discretion in a therapy environment.

The role is largely about presence at the centre, but some monitoring of email and comms may be needed between attendances. The expectation is for 2-3 sessions per week, with the possibility to do less during school holidays. The key time is the core of the day from 10am to 2pm but in some cases a 9am start will be helpful. Overall there can be significant flexibility for the candidate who is reliable, adaptable and communicative.

The rate of pay is £12.50 per hour. If this role would interest you, please send a CV with a note outlining how your skills match our needs to reception@worcesterhouse.org
